Morning Pond I am sore as hell fell last night closing the coop .. As I was lying on the floor trying to figure out if I could stand .. Smudge had come off the roost standing there like can you get up?

I am actually in pretty good shape today.. Went to the store in Morton got fruit for a salad tonight.

I called the orthopedic surgeon today but since there were no visible breaks in the original x-rays, they can't make time for him till Friday afternoon. DS was not happy to hear that this morning. He's had his foot propped up all day and icing it here and there (probably not as much as he should be though). It's still very swollen and developing a lovely purple hue.

I hate to be a downer, but those ligaments are gonna take a while to heal.

I’d be calling the ortho every morning to see if there are any cancellations. They might squeeze you in just to shut you up.

This reminds me of when my Dad walked in on me opening and closing an umbrella while sitting on the floor - to show Pixel that umbrellas weren't scary, lol.
