Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Yes and no? Our pump went out. We had to call on a Sunday to have the septic people come out and pump everything. It needed it but we weren't ready yet. It was only then that we found out our pump was dead. DH did it himself to keep it cheaper but was still over $400 and an all day project. $400 plus $350 for the tank pumping is a hard blow right after getting laid off and right before Christmas shopping season. The new pump is on now though, and so far, it's working.

Who did you call? Rotarooter stopped coming to my town.

To be clear, I live one place, but I’m staying in WV for a few months.
At home, it’s a degree warmer with 2-4” of snow. In WV it’s raining 1/2”.

A few months? Are you escaping for the winter?

Thanks. I feel that we were blessed to have it happen when it did though. Now it's there's a couple inches of snow on the ground...we could've been dealing with this with snow everywhere and freezing.

DS got his first taste of diving in the snow. They weren't plowed or treated at all but he made it safely up the hill and then down our hill and got himself and his little sister home safe. We have an old AWD Lincoln that's like a tank in the snow. I'm thankful he had that...he originally wanted to take the prius lol
