Summer has arrived as the temperature and humidity make it unbearable outside.

It’s snowing again…. Will probably have an early out. I had freezing drizzle sticking to my windshield all the way to town this morning. Not sure I’m ready for high temps
and unbearable humidity, though. I’d be thrilled with sunshine, 75, a light breeze and no humidity for a few days. Or weeks.

Good morning pond. It's 29° and sunny here. They're calling for snow tomorrow. I have 2 more full weeks of my layoff before I'm back to work for the season... I expect (want, demand) that it be warm out from March 27th through the first week or two of November lol

Good morning, Pond!
School is 2 hours late today. Winter storm watch for tomorrow. Possible 3-7” of snow, winds with 45 mph gusts. Sigh. It’s March. It won’t last forever.

On a fun note, the local deer, pheasants and turkeys have found food near our garden fence (including the birdhouse gourds that the grandkids and I planted, so we’ll have to start over this year.) Turkeys are a relatively new addition to our local wildlife. We started occasionally seeing one or two after a huge grass fire pushed them out of their area about 20 years ago. The population has grown, and we had almost a dozen of them in the yard today. The toms are starting to fluff and fan. It’s fun to watch. We have about 20 acres that we put into grassland right next to our building site that attracts the animals. We very much enjoy that.
