Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Yes, yes... but it is so hard to listen to my good advice!!!

I have my feet up... listening to the bride clean my house...

Sheesh!

I think I will put my earbuds in, so I can't hear her clean... makes me antsy knowing she is cleaning and I am doing nothing.
Umm..who is this bride. And don't feel antsy. 😁 Relax. Feel the blessing of good folks.

Good afternoon pond.
It's been in the 80's. Going to drop rather quickly this week! 70's for a couple of days, 60's one day, then Friday 45 with rain mixed with snow. Yep. I live in Utah. Will probably have some pretty sites on the mountains.
Sore arms still after getting my vaccines on Saturday, but getting better.
House smells like bacon. And why not.
I did cook 2 lbs of it today. 😁

Of my 5 boys, one (second son) got married this summer!

His bride is fantastic!

I get her for one more week, before she goes back to Anchorage to be with my son/her new husband.

She has cleaned and organized my messy livingroom, mudporch, and pantry!!! :love :bow

Good Evening!
My varmint control dog still has it! (He’ll be 11 in September) Yesterday DH and Granddaughter were out for a ride in the tractor. DH saw Ruger tracking something in a willow patch, and then saw a coyote run out. Next thing he knew, the dog had caught it, flipped it and was shaking it violently - enough to see the fur flying. Coyote got away, Ruger caught it and shook it again. It got loose a third time and ran across the road into the cattails around the big slough where he lost it or maybe got tired and gave up. DH was impressed that the dog could still move that fast! He said the way the dog handled that coyote, he’s pretty sure this wasn’t his first encounter with one. Makes me wonder how many he’s exterminated over the years…

That is a good dog for ya grew up with Jack n Shadow.
Grandma told my Uncle old Jack knocked me over one time threw a cotton mouth that I was about to step on.
Ruger is a good boy. Besides guarding and protecting the farm from unwanted critters, he lets the little kids crawl all over him, and loves to fetch whatever the bigger ones throw for him.
