We are in the "horror zone" of spiraling around freezing.

So... rain, snow, slush, ICE... whatever... just nasty!

Dry though will say that.
Pond has frozen solid here.

We got snow overnight with more coming later today. It looks beautiful outside. School is canceled, just a regular old fashioned snow day. We haven't had many of those the past few years. We're just actually getting snow this winter. DH made it safely down the mountain to work but he took my subaru so no surprise. DS just texted that he made it down safe too. He drove his civic but he has snow tires on it now. They didn't help him too much with the drifts that he couldn't avoid but they helped everywhere else. DD and I will be baking cookies today

Woke up to a similar situation here

We lost two birds last week both from the same group of chicks but died for two different reasons. These were also two of my 4 chickens I showed at fair last year.
