Still circling freezing... but it looks like we are now dropping back into the teens.

That's plenty cold. I think we're only going to get down to around 34. A little warmer over the weekend. Maybe I'll take the opportunity to put some extra screws in some metal roofing that tried to get away on a lean-to shed during the last big wind.

Use HUGE washers... helps to keep the roof from ripping through/off the screws.

I just got a call from DS. A deer jumped out in front of him right outside of work. He's getting all the experiences and joys of owning his own car in quick succession. Good thing he has to have full coverage! It's still drivable but his door isn't opening right and he said it looks like someone smashed his windshield with a baseball bat. He's ok, just shaken up. DH is going to leave work early today, meet up with him and they'll go to the insurance office together. Fun way to go in to the weekend.
