Real cool but no snow for us.

We have lived in Florida for the past 27 years and of course there has not been any snow.

But you get the best kind of snow! The snow in pictures!!!

Good Evening, Pond!
It’s been a dreary, misty day today. We had planned to make the 3-hour drive to my aunt’s house for a Christmas get together with family, but with freezing mist and drizzle, we opted to stay home. It’s not a terrible thing, though. Although I was disappointed, I have been perfectly content staying home and getting some Christmas decorating done.

I have a wonky misshapen little tree that I put my special ornaments on. I think it’s kinda cute. I have an artificial tree in the basement by the fireplace that the local grandkids come and decorate. I think this is the 5th year that we have done that. It started when GS was 2 (almost 3). I don’t remember why, but I wasn’t in the mood to put up a tree that year. I was actually feeling kind of down about the whole holiday season. Grandson and family were here, and he was downstairs. He came flying up the steps yelling, “Gramma! Gramma! I found a Chrissun tree under the stairs!” So I ‘had to’ drag the thing out and we decorated it. My spirits had improved by the time we got it done.

Has anyone seen December 21??? Do NOT let it run off!!

I am trying to decide if I should drive to church tomorrow.

A bit insanely stupid... but also... the PATH to church! So much snow! So deep! Also... hard to follow in the dark.

Good morning pond, chilly on my lily pad. We skipped church today. They're calling for freezing rain and snow up our way and since it's an hour drive down the mountain to church we figured it would be safer to stay home.... though nothing has started yet. Time to cozy up with a warm blanket and relax the day away

Get half way there and get stuck you'll be wishing you hadn't started. You can praise the Lord at home, he'll understand.
