Well, they were wrong on the 103 prediction. It was 104. Ugh. But low to mid 80's for the weekend and a few more days.

Good morning pond. I haven't stopped in for a while, life's been busy. DD is officially into her first semester of college. After switching out 1 class (philosophy to History of Pennsylvania) she's just loving it though I personally wouldn't be as thrilled with calculus 2 lol. We heard from DS. He's halfway through his basic training now and seems to be doing well. It was so nice to hear his voice! Though he definitely sounds raspy. He said that he was sick and has a lingering cough but he had no voice from screaming all morning lol. Every day I rush home from work and check the mail, looking for a letter from him but I know he doesn't have a lot of time to write. We have our hotel, flights, and rental car all booked for his graduation. My work season is steadily marching towards the end. Labor day weekend was crazy busy but things have dramatically slowed down. Apple cider festival is coming up the first weekend in October and then the second weekend will be Halloween in the campground. Those are our last 2 crazy busy events then the rest is smooth sailing. It's definitely fall here though. Leaves have been slowly changing for a couple weeks now and I heard he's flying over the other day.
