Well bad news on the quail

Quote:
That sounds good- as long as they can wait til Spring to plant and still be good. I'm not much of a plant person anymore- my reading and time goes into the birds and dogs and cats...If they'll still be good to plant then, I'll go for it. We can work out the details later on- closer to the weekend. Have to check the calendar for what's going on then.

They are packed for 08 so they should still be good. I got a few saved for myself for next year.

Thanks Cyn and Chuck,

I hope my next batch goes better. I guess buttons are pretty stubborn huh?

We'll get you some babies, Stevie...

Hang in there.
Do you have a surge protector on your incubator? It really helps.

You should.

I shipped a bunch to Miss Prissy, and she had 100% hatch rate.

But it all depends on how the PO treats the box, too. It may not have been the spikes... you will never know for sure. :aww

I hope to get a good hatch. Your eggs are going from one side of the country to the other. Hopefully the PO wont hurt these eggs and I will finally get a break from all this bad luck.

Well, Miss Prissy is in VA, and I've sent eggs to Birdboy88 (Mark) in Maryland with good hatch rates, so it all depends on the PO.

I'll pack 'em extra special tight for you.

Thank you so much. I have a brooder set up and ready for chicks. Just washed out the bator and ready for my next batch. I should have about 60+ eggs ready to go this week and next week.
