Hi there folks,
I don't actually have any chickens, and live in the city, so at the minute, everything is 'can you get it smaller?'. My immediate strand of thinking is quails.. they tick all the boxes regarding size, care etc.
As for me, I live in Belfast. Northern Ireland (the better part of the UK
). I actually keep reptiles and arachnids, but with a broody wife, my reptile room might have to go, and so my species will be down to a few favourites only.
I'm a city boy that always wanted to be a farmer.. so whilst I can't afford to buy land, mess it up in trial and error, I can utilise the small space I have as good as I can.. which led me to here. I actually just typed 'backyard chickens' into the interwebs, and this came up
