What a beautiful egg basket !! Silkies seem to make a career out of being broody. Often "broodiness" is contagious - as proven by your Australorp girl.

Thank you, I love seeing multi color baskets I know right? I have 2 silkies, the one went broody for the first time last year and just had chicks again and the other went around the yard picking up sticks and leaves last year but never went broody. The astro just went broody, she's 2 years old and this is her first time. It's crazy how some never go broody and how others can't seem to stop. It was so funny seeing the one silkie tossing stuff on her back, the broody one never did that lol
