Thank you so much she's a real sweetheart and has made a real good friend for that little one you see in the foreground. They are best of buddies. She was given to me by a lady who I thought she said she was a Cochin but from what I have looked she does not look like that at all.She is either a Dominique or a Plymouth Rock.
They look similar but they have different combs; I can't remember which has which.
Barred is a color of Plymouth Rock...there are also White Plymouth Rocks.

I only have one but she's is one of my favorite hens now! She kept the other chicks calmer by not overreacting and flying all over the place .They learned to trust me faster because of her. In the beginning I thought she was a cockerel because her comb was bigger but after I made a post here I was told she wasn't a dominique like the others
