Long story short, stuff happened and the whole chicken thing was put on hold, BUT after what, like two years?
I finally got some featherfriends, 9 total. 8 Ameracaunas, and 1 leghorn, with only one rooster! Talk about good odds, I though I was gonna have like.....5
Arrived April 29th and they were little bundles of fluff and peeps
Couple weeks and some feathers later, we have CHICKENS! The big leghorn, Peepin, is ironically the only one who's learned how to cluck! Pretty funny stuff
Been doing some supervised freeroaming lately, we can't really let them roam constantly because we're on a busy street...too many cars

Coolest feathers ever~

And here's my pride and joy, Cricket, who is the prettiest chicken I've ever seen
she actually reminds me of a falcon or some kind of bird of prey

Also, more pix are on the way because there's none of the roo and a couple others. They're actually getting a much needed upgrade from their doghouse/crate/makeshift eyesore tomorrow, a nice big mobile coop and run, we're going to be using the 'pasture' method for them
I'll be sure to get lots of photos of them inspecting their new home.
