Well I got me some Silkies!

Cool vid! I just looked at your website and I think its real nice. How's the biz down there?

For sure! I'm sure we'll be in touch. Too me it looks like both my partridge are female but we will see. I think I might be able to get a partridge roo for you or point you in the right direction. I would have to find out to be sure though.

Please tell me what you think! I know the last one is a roo for sure because he's crowing, but how about the others?

Wow nice topknot on that partridge! Looks girlie to me too. I found someone with a trio of partridge and asked her to start saving me some eggs from them in a few weeks so hopefully I will hatch me a nice roo. Her roo is VERY nice. Your birds look really happy, Chef.

Thank you onthespot

I try to keep them happy as I can! The partridge showgirl I think is the same age as the roo so I think it would have more comb. What do you think about the white silkie? Thats the one that I can't really tell.

I can't tell much about the white one because of the angle. Try to take another photo from the side, down low, so we can see how it stands. The roos seem to stand a bit taller, and thier feathers seem to point backwards even when they are younger, (but not always.) The beak looks barely a tad "biggish" on the white one, but it could be you had the camera close and the view zoomed out.... so, I remain totally useless and non-committal on the white bird. Sorry for rambling.
