Well I hope to be leaving for Old Blighty next Monday...

My wife's accent, being from "Up North" is a tweener. Neigher the English or the Scots will claim them and they have just this diabolically horrible accent. The funny thing is that it rubs off on you even during short visits.

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to have a Biryani or a Cornish pasty first.

The scarey thing is I just may. Caroline is a facebook junky and I'm constantly finding photos of myself from her blackberry looking very unawake or unprepared to have my fat mug posted all over the interweb.

Also, you haven't lived until you've had a Vindaloo after about 15 pints and 6 scotch eggs. I will go no further into the details.

All my Atkin ancestors are from Worcestershire. But I've never been out of the US except for Niagra falls.

Have a great time!

The village my ma was born in is in Worcestershire now; but most of the family have moved a little west into Herefordshire except for those left at the Manor Farm.

Really gorgeous country down there. Lots of orchards, ciders, sheep, cows. They do a lot with the ground considering it's pretty claggy stuff.

My grandparents are from England...i cant remember what part right now(i'll hav e to ask my father)..i have always wanted to go there and meet my relatives...both my grandparents are gone now..but..i still remember their English accents..

I'm on the home stretch for this project. Only 473 more beaucratic comments to respond to from someone who probably has never left their desk to see a project get actually constructed.
