Well..I let my Leghorn have another hatch......!

My Leghorn has something called 'color-bias'. I learned this in another thread when I posted that my hen had killed her brown (EE) babies--2 of them. I was horrified. Swore I'd never let her hatch another egg........

But I gave in! I limited her to only 3 eggs; and only other leghorn eggs.

Sunday after Church I went out and found one had hatched--moments before. It was still in the bottom half of the egg! Fortunate for me--and her--cause look!!

Isn't she beautiful??!!

This is Poppa! Someone on here told me he would be a good rooster because I might get some 'really great colors' !!!

Gee--!! They were right!
