Wow this is an amazing trip your on... the pics are fab... not going to comment on the "loo".... other than to say glad we don't have them here!.. I sooo know I would fall over!

I remember we lived in Turkey in the 70's and those were the normal toilets even at the Ankara airport . We always carried toilet paper with us as at the time they used their left hand then washed. Of course they only ate with their right hand. What a culture shock!

It's universal. lol Almost every where I've been ( really, long list ) they have had toilets like that.

It takes some getting used to at first.

Ok....here are a few updated pix.

These first few are from "the pet shop restaurant" as we called it. You go in and select what you want, then they prepare it for you!

You know, my grandfather plowed his fields with an old fashioned single blade plow and a mule till he was over 90 years old. He lived to be 100.

Hi, Scott, glad to see that you're having a great time in China. Anne and I went to school there shortly after the Cultural Revolution and have gone back several times since for various reasons. It sure has changed quickly in so many ways in the last 30-some years. Enjoyed your pictures; keep 'em comin'.
