Into chickens!
Im new to it so dont be suprised if you see me coming here asking weird questions!!
Im going to be making the coop in the next couple of days. After that Im picking up some "brown laying hens" the gentlman Im getting them from said that the hens are hybrids and have a number rather than a breed number. These will be the first 5 birds. After that Im going to try and get 5 more and Im hoping for some Rhode Island Reds!
Im very excited and a little nervous too! Ive heard some horror stories and I know that though chickens are relatively simple, they are a lot of responsibility!

Im from Nova Scotia Canada, is there anyone else in the area that has chickens? I can use all the help I can get!!
