She's beautiful! We thought our Cayuga was a drake too because his voice was so much quieter than our Pekin & our Swed. We kept waiting for the telltale curl & got the shock of our lives when we got an egg instead.

When do you think you can build a safe enclosure & add more ducks? I agree she will be much happier outside with other ducks to chat with.

Well being Broody is impossible without first laying eggs so just pooping bigger..

I have a Muscovy drake who I raised after his mama didn't want him although I can pick him up and cuddle and smooch him he has never laid down for me like the females have done. So loud quacking means female. No quacking at all and only raspy means drake.
