I thought blue egg gene over brown equals green....apparently not as i bred a true blue ameruacana he hatched from a blue egg and came from a breeder and bred to a blue wyandotte I have one that lays green the other is laying brown! And I for sure know the parents and the egg being laid

Then your Ameraucana is not a "true Ameraucana."
He carries one blue egg gene and one non blue (white) egg gene.
Considering it came from deer runs farm stock im not surprised well gonna sell the hen either way and i already ate the male months ago
