Well the Shed to Coop project is about to begin

So the load of lumber showed up and the stone for the base for the run. Looks like all my spare time is officially gone for a while. Also a few shots of the ceiling insulation job

Have the entire inside insulated and the window screen guards built. Next is starting the internal wall for the storage area.

Today was Laying Box Day. It was the scariest part as I had to cut through 7 studs, the wall, and make it straight. Well it worked out great. Very proud of my day today. Not bad for a no talent hack fake carpenter guy

So here is this weekend's progress and some before and afters. Paint as soon as the humidity and temps drop. Then Solar

We ll slow but steady wins the race. It has been Hella hot of late and work has been a bit crazy so there has been some delays in the project. We got the poop tray and perch in today and made some solar fabric shades for the windows to keep things cool. I'll vet poca of the shades but here is the tray and perch

I am thinking of making a counter weight system with a dead weight and pulley. it will be functional and add some country charm

Great idea! You’re ahead of me on that one. I think I’ll convert mine to a pulley/weight system also. I’ve already got the materials for it. Now I have another project to complete! Thanks.
