Well, there was SOMETHING in the nest box....

One of my six cats loves hanging out in the coop and frequently sleeps in the nest boxes. The chickens just ignore him.

The chickens lay in two of the top nesting boxes. The cats sleep in one of the bottom nest boxes. I've wondered if my tomcat thinks he's going to lay an egg...

The cats stalked the chickens for the first day or two they were out, but after being ignored they gave up on it.
