I let my peafowl out as usual Saturday. Come Saturday night they would go back in, in fact they took off! we found them Sunday and chased them again. They went deep into the woods. My husband and I were worn out so we said the h--- with it and went home! Today I went out to let my guineas out and there were 5 0f the 6 peafowl at the pen. After I let the guineas out the peafowl went in and ate like there was no tomorrow! I am still waiting for the other peacock. My husband said I would never see them again, WRONG! My question is should I worm again? there is no telling what they ate while they were out! Prayer works wonders!

Normal pea behavior, mine only did that one time and never again, they slept all the next day , guess the party in the woods was to much for them.
I learned just let them come back on their own, chasing them could end in disaster.

I worm my peas every 3 months no matter what. them being gone for a while won't make them have more worms silly.

Right now I think it'll be a cold day in h--- before I let them out again! I've still got 1 peacock to come home.

Can you hear him? If he got spooked he may be up in a tree till he fills safe or hungry which ever come first, give him time, i had one get spooked by my dogs running a rabbit out in the field a few years ago, he flew past me and around the barn and i lost site of him, i figured he flew into the loft but when i checked he was not up there, he finely showed back up 36 hours later and i never did figure out where he was.

]e has been gone since Saturday night

Don't give up, I had one disappear for a week and find his way home, and a long time ago I had two 8 month olds take off for 2 weeks. I had given up on those two, it was winter time, then they just reappeared in the barn one day.
