Well we did it ... first ever chickens ... coop build

Building one thing is fun, interesting and satisfying...... do it for cash and it often quickly becomes a grind.
For sure, another hobby is photography ... I always get asked to shoot for $$$ and I always say no thank you.

ok, got some more done ... front screen door and front door also got rear door completed.

A little more progress ... white bathroom wallboard on the interior.

Taken from the front door looking left at the nesting boxes and window.

Looking right at a window and coop exit to the run.

Looking straight back, painted back door white.

Tonight I was able to add the poop board and roost board. Not sure I like the roost ... it seems too close to the poop board.

Probably be ok...but looks like you could mount the roost part up a bit higher on the angle parts...can't tell if you used nails or screws, I always use screws so I can change things much easier if need be.

It's not attached. I am going to redesign it tonight. To me it's too low and I don't like the supports being in the pan itself. I think I'll try bringing the supports down from the rafters. Thanks for the reply.

Started to work on the run. I had no clue what I was going to do, so I did what I normally do ... start cutting wood and nailing it together. I think it's goint to work out just fine.
