Get it set and get the humidity right 25-35% and keep it there for days 1-18. Temp at 99.5 (It's got a fan right?)

Good luck!

Yes its got the fan

Does it have to be right at 100 degrees? Its been staying at 90

You might want to turn it up hair. Also, what I do when regulating the bator is to put insome heat sync jars to simulate the egg mass once you put them in. If you have a couple of small baby food jars or closely sized, that will do. Also I've used just a pint mason jar with a lid full of water.

Do I still need to add jars of water when I add water to the plastic tray thing in the bottom of the bator?

The jars of water should be closed and only used as a heat sync. They're to replace the mass of the eggs and also, they are a help to keep the thermostat regulated. Each time you open the bator, it loses heat and humidity. The heat will be less of an issue with heat sync jars in the bator and will help to keep the actual temps stable. They're not something that you have to do, but it helps, especially if you have a bator that swings temps easily.

You'll want to put some warm water in the jars and let the bator sync completely and stay steady before putting the eggs in.

If the eggs are shipped, let them rest pointed end down at least overnight. If they're yours, just pop them in when everything seems synced and stays that way for a several hours.
