Ok thanks... I was looking and it looks like I really dont have room for a jar in the bator with the egg turner in it.

That's ok, just go for it! I didn't use a sync jar this time and I have four pips tonight. It just helps when you're fireing up the bator for the first time. LOL mine's on it's second hatch of the year and will be filled again early next week.
