I just got these day olds this morning from the feed store. They are supposed to be pullets, only time will tell I guess. I am asking for breed help. I am pretty sure the black one is a barred rock, but the white wing tips are throwing me off. I have not a clue on the other 2. Help please!

This chick is a yellowish white color, no other markings, comb is starting to develop, not a pea comb, feet are yellow.

This chick is black with a yellowish white spot on its head, really dark legs/feet, and a white butt and wing tips.

This chick is mostly an amber yellow color with two reddish streaks down the back. Yellow feet as well.

Any ideas? Is the black chick a barred rock?

#1 could be a buff orpington, #2 black sex link( have some that looks just like that) and #3 is a red sex link.

That was my first guess, but it is so much whiter than my other BO was...so I was unsure. They had no EE...which made me sad since I suspect my EE is a boy.

The black one has black on the legs, that's why I say black sex link......my barred rocks don't have black!

So if they are sex links, I have pullets for sure? I am new to this and the genetics part of chickens is a learning process.

If I'm right! I think the one in the photo is Roo, because of the white spot on the head. Pullets don't have the spot on the head.

I sure hope not! This chick was to replace a BR roo I already have! We can't have the boys around here

I picked dark feet and single white spot to try and ensure pullet because i was on the BR track. DARN!
