Well

this is so horrible, says the woman who grew up in the town where 7 high school kids just killed a random immigrant by beating him to death, for no good reason just that he was of central american descent.

nothing makes much sense any more. every thing is so violent...
gotta agree with the redneck boys on your guy tho, SSS! it does tend to stop the BS in an area!

Sorry but vigilante justice is an oxymoron! Innocent till proven guilty and right to due process for each & everyone of us. That is what America is built on & is the "freedom" we are supposed to be defending, I will not respond to this thread again,

but I will say how amazed I am by some of your attitudes.

That's how I feel! Where is the due process and innocence for all the little children being raped, people that mind their own business getting murdered, people trying to make a living getting robbed! I hate the judicial system, I liked it back in the old days when the problem was taken care of and a big hole got dug.

One thing wrong with the judicial system is "THE VICTIM HAS NO RIGHTS ." Its the criminal that has to be walked around gently because he might gets his toes stepped on or his rights violated but that doesn't change his victim from being any more dead and her family ruined and devastated.

I am sorry for Carol and her family, I will pray for the repose of her soul and that healing will come to her family.

As to rural justice, it has been around for many more years than most of us have walked this planet. I can understand the mentality behind it, the need to protect their own from a threat, perceived or real. It also is known as Frontier Justice, where the community takes action, without the sanction of the law.

In this case we have the possiblity of a psychotic person, obviously capable of murder, that is not afraid of acting without concern for the consequences until after the fact.

Such a person on the loose is a cause for alarm in any community. I have a situation with a neighbors son who is both a drunk and a druggie, one of his older sisters is an alcoholic. And they both live with their recently widowed mother. We have had police visits over there on several occassions. One of the problems is that most of the houses on the block I live on are occuppied by other family members. I had to have any prescriptions I get be picked up at the pharmacy rather than delivered until recently.

A great deal of the time that you have these unsolved murders it can almost always be traced back to alcohol or drugs. Sometimes, in rural communities, it can also be traced to family fueds.

Whatever the case may be here, let us hope, for everyone's peace of mind that this coward is caught quickly.

This caught my attention back when you posted that this Andy guy may be in South Georgia, being that's where I live. We have had our share of murders in our county and surrounding counties as well. Just year or so ago, Nancy Grace featured one case of the little 6 yr. old boy that was raped, tortured, strangled and half buried in a shallow grave in Brunswick, just south of us. He was killed by the grown son of a family that lived in the same trailer park as the childs family. Come to find out, the grown son's parents watched as their nut case son raped and tortured this innocent little boy. The whole family was arrested, but I haven't heard any more news on trial dates or anything else about the case.

While it's possible that Andy may still be in your area because of lack of funds to travel, I just don't see him holded up with his drug buddies at their house back in the woods for fear that they would be caught as well, unless they helped him kill poor Carol and dispose of her body in the well on her property. But, if drugs are involved, who knows. I just pray that something breaks in the case soon so her family and your whole community can have some closure.

Please do me a favor. If you should find out that Andy is somewhere in South Georgia, give me a heads up. It's already quite clear that whoever killed poor Carol is a complete nut case and desperate, so anything is possible.
