How can one differentiate between a wellsummer rooster and a rhode island red rooster? I'm searching online and they seem too similar for me to differentiate. Are their any stark difference you could point out?

A Rhode Island Red rooster is a solid red/mahogany color. A Wellie has a black breast and colored wings.

    And this one...

I figured this guy was a Wellsummer because the other two had the black undersides...

So by what you are saying #1 & #2 pics are Wellsummer and #3 pic is a RIR?

The first two look like Welsummers or mixed breeds. The last one is a mix that probably has Brahma or Easter Egger blood.

Nope, no RIR there, sorry. They all look like mixed breed birds from what I can tell.
