Wellsummer?

Then you don't know her momma was a welsummer. I think you have a regular Easter egger. Enjoy her or return her for a Welsummer pullet.

You really don't know her parentage then. She's a pretty EE bird...and if she has the pea comb...there's a good likelihood you'll get a blue or green egg as she likely has the blue gene (more complicated than that, but there's good hope).

Otherwise, she has nearly a 100% chance of laying an egg, if she is a pullet, which she certainly appears to be.

I got my grab bag of eggs from a farm who supposedly "kept their breeds separate," but I've found a mix-mash of parentage apparent in the offspring that has left me guessing as to what they are.

And, I guess (at least for me) that is part of the fun...sort of like the box of chocolates...what color is the egg going to be???

At this point I'm happy she is a pullet! I already need to rehome my red laced blue wyandotte roo. Roosters are illegal and on top of it he has a single comb. So he will be someone dinner I suppose

I will post pictures of her every once in awhile. Thank you Lady Of McCamley for being so pleasant and patient with me!
