Female was mated today more thn once think the biyd got too aggressive her leg when she walks well her foot points outward shw cut out weight. She WAS trying to get away and I think she dislocated her knee. Hie do I fix this?. I have a small kennel ready for her. Can I set her knee? How do I keepher off it? Do I put the kennel In pen so she can see her friends and mate?
Her left legg is swollen at the joint and moves around easily but I know its hard to tell if they are in pain...
If she tries to walk her foot turns outward. There is no bubble foot as she was fine yesterday only a small limp due to being swarmed In the pool ams immediately removed and put into a different pen with other females. The males are overly aggressive so we are separating them all for now. @Miss Lydia @BirdsBeesTrees

poor girl, I'd say she def needs to be separated from the drakes. I was looking on line for info on how to set a dislocated knee and came across this

I did splint it with a part of a small popsicle stick cut into a small piece, in the back behind the knee and leg ro make.it ao ahe cannot re dislocate. she refused to stop standing on it... darn ducks. And wrapped with that felxitape that was in the other post and she and her sister are In a separate pen and not happy about it...lol thanks @Miss Lydia as always for being able to assist with questions amd care advise.

They are so good at this. You will probably have to go way up and way down the leg with the flex tape and hopefully she won't be able to remove it. Or once you get the knee bandaged again use another kind of tape over it I have used duck[duct tape] over flex tape.

So she has good amd bad days. Today not a good day. I had to rewrap her again this time making it harder for her to walk... so she has water and food near her. But she wants to be with the other girls. Just thinking this is not a quick fix... if you remove the splint the knee goes back to shooting her foot out to the left. And she doesnt like when i put it back in place . I can feel where the ligaments slip. Is there anything more i can do? I'm isolating I am thinking of rooster booster and some B-complex? Any one else have other thoughts?. I figured this would be a month long recovery, so that isn't the issue or aurprise. she has room and the other girls bed down wtih her at night.

I just don't want her to never be able to be back with the flock. She is on ly 1 of 2 welsh girls I have . The other two were taken by a snake. I may have to get more... but that's later. Suggestions appreciated!!
