I havn't seen many people on here with welsh harlequins, only a few. I got these babies at the right time so they will start to lay in the early spring. I plan on selling hatching eggs in the spring of the welsh and rouens, maybe khakis if they lay that soon, they will be a month younger so im not getting my hopes up to high on them. Im sure you will enjoys them

Thanks. Let me know how it goes. Do you have a blog I can subscribe to? I am working on setting mine up. It is rough because it is new and I am not done getting it all setup like I want but you can subscribe to it and I will post pictures when I get the ducks. http://lordsflock.blogspot.com/

Now that I think of it the brother sister yhing is fine lol.

Ok good because I will have to do some breeding when I first get them to get my flock numbers up since not many people in my area have these birds readily available. Most of the people around here that have them only have like one or two.

I think I read on this thread, but please don't quote me that it's 7 generations before you have to worry about birth defects, etc. that seems like a long time to us but not so in the duck world.
