Welsh Harlequin

Does anyone know where I can get some young ducklings asap? I have a day-old Mallard single hatchling that needs some company desperately. Willing to consider other breeds and will drive to pick up most anywhere in New England. Please let me know if you know of any options.

You can check Holderread's availability http://www.holderreadfarm.com/duckling_price_list_page/duckling_price_page.htm

But you'll probably be able to get them sooner with Metzer's http://www.metzerfarms.com/WelshHar... Harlequin&BirdType=Duck&ID=WH&CustID=9693597

Besides that you can check craigslist or your local classifieds or put up a wanted ad.

Good luck :)

I was wondering if I have one silver and one gold welsh? They came from metzers, about 6 months old.

Hello! We are new to ducks and hatched these little guys out. One is a Ancona, and the other a WH. We raise our chickens as pets and wanted to do the same with ducks. So far, we are loving it! We have been hand feeding them treats of kale & peas. Any other advice you guys have for us newbies? Thanks!

I've got welsh harlequin ducklings pipping in the incubator right now!

My handsome drake and his gold phase lady and silver phase girl have given us tons of eggs, and so far, 100% fertile and developing! Now
Just to keep my hand off the incubator so that the hatch rate is good too
