Hmmmmm! I do see darker edge of chest feathers but need to see better. However the markings on head was fuzzy....it might be a good possiblity! Good one, Pinkchick!

The girls have the golden neck feathers coming in at this age and roos do not....check out #2, #3 and #5 they all have golden neck feathers coming in, they also all have eyeliner and all the girls are showing the breast feather shafting, where as boys do not.
#1 and #4 have tan-ish lighter colored heads, no gold in the hackles which cockerels do not get, no eyeliner and very fuzzy to almost nil "V"'s on the head.

OK their combs have developed significantly this past week. Now it's pretty obvious (I think). And the winner is...pinkchick - looks like #1 and #4 are the roos. Which means I'll have to rename them as my kids named them Elizabeth and Sapphire, respectively! I'll post some updated photos when I get a chance.

Is there any way to tell when they are only a few days old? Going to pick some up at the food store today.
