I have 3 welsummer pullets. They are about a year old. I got them at tractor supply last year. All 3 are laying, but one is consistently laying eggs with gray spots on instead of darker brown spots. Is this normal? Also her eggs are larger then the others as well. Egg on the right side is from my other hens. I do use layer feed and oyster shell as a free choice.

That could be an excessive amount of bloom on the left egg. Have you tried washing and scrubbing it? If so, does the lighter marking come off?
Ditto Dat!

The one on the right looks to be porous, candling it would tell the tale there.

It doesn't scrub off, they do feel like a more porous texture, could her calcium level be too high?
