None are pure Phoenix. Wrong shaped tails. But like I said earlier. Theybmay have Phoenix in the ancestryI think they are mixed breeds. #3 might be a pure red Phoenix hen, but the other two are Phoenix crosses, in my opinion.

My husband had released the hens from the coop before I got outside. I tried to catch a glimpse of underfoot color as they were foraging. Looks like similar slate underfoot on #1. #2 and #3 looks slate with a faint pink tinge. All three are the same breed.
Dutch bantam is most likely, although they look a little big - are they bantam sized?
Check the underfoot colour.
None are Brown Leghorn.
Tail shape looks pretty good to me on the third one. I raised and bred golden duckwing Phoenix many years ago.None are pure Phoenix. Wrong shaped tails. But like I said earlier. Theybmay have Phoenix in the ancestry
I think they do sell phoenix, though @JacinLarkwell currently has phoenix so I trust the opinion from them.I think the spur growing is pretty interesting. Some breeds are more prone to it.
Phoenix certainly matches up better than the others, with the exception of the skin colour. One of those birds has very distinct white earlobes...the others not so much. Does Cackle sell Phoenix?
Thanks for the pics. I saw the second pic while exploring similar looking breeds. Yes, they are pretty birds. I think I will name them "Thing 1", " Thing 2" and "Thing 3".Tail shape looks pretty good to me on the third one. I raised and bred golden duckwing Phoenix many years ago.
Here are a couple of photos of black breasted red Phoenix hens for comparison

Just looked at the Cackle website and, yes, they do sell Phoenix chicks. Standard size varieties listed are: Silver Duckwing, Golden Duckwing, Black Breasted Red.I think the spur growing is pretty interesting. Some breeds are more prone to it.
