Our Peach's started limping two days ago.
We did check for bumblefoot/mites/visible cuts, and found nothing that may cause the limp.
I can palpate her foot with no issues. When attempt to palpate the joint she retracts her leg toward her body, in a way that seems protective. Minor Joint injury? just needs a few days of quiet rest?
We did notice that her dew claw is odd colored and seems to be rotated into her leg.
Is the color an issue? What may it be? Due to it angling into her leg, could it be cut off without causing other issues?
We have her isolated in a warm quiet dark space. She is eating and drinking now. We believe that the last two days max, she was not getting down for food or water.

Our very small chicken hobby is doing great. Most of the success came from all the feed back and great information from this site and the members.

I wonder if the claw could be broken and the discoloration you're seeing is bruising. Hard to tell on my phone, but is it green? Chickens bruise green. I think I would leave it alone and just keep an eye on it. It's probably painful but may heal on its own. Others may think differently. @DobieLover what do you think?

Thank you for the reply. Too my old eyes, it appears to be a darker gray. We are going to give her a few days in quiet darker place. We have her in a dog cage in our bathroom as of right now. eating good. thinking of trimming the dew claw to get it away from the main leg. Over kill? wait till she show signs of getting better first? Obviously, we are new to this.

That is her spur, not a dew claw. The end looks like it got pinched/damaged and it probably hit the quick. If the sheath didn't split enough to open up the spur and let it bleed, the blood would build up inside causing pressure and more pain.
If she were mine I would take a pair of heavy duty dog nail clippers and nip away at the end of the spur to try to shorten it and maybe open up the very tip of the quick so any trapped blood could flow out. Then swab it with some blue coat or other disinfectant and let her continue to rest until she's not limping. I'd wait until she's recovered from this and would consider taking some pliers and twisting off the spur sheaths on both legs to shorten them dramatically.
If the spur she felt loose at all during the trimming I would twist and remove the sheath. It could have also been injured by jumping off of something and landing wrong and smashing the spur into her leg.
