Welsummer Ladies or Gentlemen?

Of the 6, none really act roo-ish, but Sage LOOKS the most like a boy. But Sage's comb isn't really that big, and the photos make it look a bit more reddish than it actually is. But if any of them are boys, I think it would be Sage.

I was told that the roos get a dark breast where the hens are redish with a lite stripe on each feather where the shaft is.

I think Sage might be cockerel by tht comb...
Can we see shots of the breast feathers? Welsummers boys have much darker brown (not reddish) berast feathers, I believe. The two we had both turned out to be pullets, both had lighter brown or ginger breasts (one had the stripe in the feather, one had solid color).

I don't really have a good photo of the breast, but it's pretty reddish, not dark. Here's the best shots I have - all three Welsummers are identical in the coloring on their breast feathers. And by the way SeaChick, I voted! Go Olivia!

Thanks!

And as far as behavior, when I stick my hand into the coop, they ALL try to crawl under each other to hide. No challenges, no crowing (so far). Parsley (EE) is the most curious of the group, and I noticed this morning that she is getting cheek tufts! Way too cute! I'll try to get a picture, if I can capture her when she's doing the "curious bird" routine. She sticks her head up as far as she can to see over the divider, then cocks it to the side. It's hilarious!

Ah, well, if Sage is the only roo, we're still ok. I only have a total of 6 chickens (for now....hehehehe), so 1 roo and 5 pullets would be ok. Now, if one of the others turns out to be a roo also, then we gots problems!
