Welsummer layed a white egg??!

Where did you get her? She's not a Welsummer. She's also not what I was expecting to see. She's pretty!

The egg to the left of the whiteish one is more so the color a Welsummer would lay. The bird in question is not a Welsummer though.
She's got yellow feet, 5 points in her comb, and stopped laying for a couple months during winter, all of which welsummers do? That's what I've read ...

I got her from a breeder in Victoria, she's a gold welsummer not the normal partridge, silvers are recessive, a partridge and a silver make a gold :)
 
She's layed brown eggs before, plus I got her from a welsummer breeder so wdym? I was told she's a gold welsummer
In the USA, the American Poultry Association only recognizes one color of Welsummer, and that's the only variety the hatcheries sell. Your hen is not that color.

I notice that a bunch of the people commenting are in the US, but if you are somewhere else you may have access to Welsummers in other colors. Or if you are in the US, maybe the breeder is working with non-standard colors (not recognized by the APA.)
