Welsummer - Male or female?

I know it is hard to sex small chicks, but I know some can make good guesses by the coloring of Welsummers. What do you think, male or female?

OK, more pics in a couple weeks. I was thinking roo too... and I hope so. My son named the chick "Spider"... as in the Spider Chicken hero, protector bird. Of course, a hen would be great too... we're not picky.

If he follows the usual pattern for chicks hatched from this trio, then he's probably a roo! So far, the pullets I've hatched have had very dark, distinct head markings. It is a little bit hard to tell from the pic. . .

He sure looks healthy!!! Hope he looks like his daddy if he is a roo - Rudy is gorgeous!!!
