Will a Welsummer roo and a cuckoo hen give you sex-linked chicks?
I hatched 2 eggs from this cross yesterday and got one all black chick and one brownish chick with a white spot on it's head and some white underneath.
Does the barring work the same with a Welsummer and cuckoo then assuming the brownish chick is male?
I was trying to hatch some pure Welsummers but apparently my roo prefers the marans because all the welsummer eggs were clear. This is an interesting combo though.....
