He may be a great backyard rooster for a mixed flock, but not breeding stock for purebred breeding.Yep, depends on what you're after. Birds for a meat and eggs sustainable flock can be any breed or mix that you like. His "flaws" in no way affect his health or vigor. But if you are looking to get into breeding Welsummers, you'll want to find a better source for your breeding flock as he's obviously mixed.
