Welsummer rooster?

Can anyone confirm that this is a welsummer rooster? I picked him up yesterday and the owner didn't know what he was. At first I thought black copper marans and then I thought welsummer. But the little Mohawk on the back of his head is throwing me off (if you look closely at the back of his comb you can see some Grey tufty feathers sprigging out). Any ideas? Maybe he's a mix? But everything but the Mohawk seems to say welsummer. Need opinions! Thanks!

It looks like a Welsummer x Legbar cross to me, but the white legs are throwing me off. Olive egger possibly? What color are the bottom of his feet?

The crest and his shank color say otherwise. I agree with the others. Mixed breed rooster. Maybe an CCLBxBCM, but that is just a shot in the dark.

Looks like a Welsummer mix. The tuft throws me off as well....

The bottom is also white. Marans have white skin and shanks. That's what made me guess he was a Maran cross, but there is no way to tell for sure.

The color also looks like a Maran rooster, very similar to the wellie!
