Welsummer still hasn't layed

Well to be honest I never knew that there was a brown leghorn

So when I went to the chicken lady she had what I thought was a welsummer so I asked her and she the proceeded to tell me that she was a brown leghorn. She told an easy way to tell is the white patch and the tail in a leghorn is pitched... I got worried because our welsummer has a pretty pitched tail... When I came home and googled brown leghorn I knew for sure ours wasn't one because that patch is really noticeable... I just figured I'd ask the people who know their chickens!!!

Do brown leghorns have white earlobes? That bird has brown earlobe, it looks to me at least. She looks like my welsummers.

In the links I provided, there is a brown leghorn and a welsummer in the same cage. Yes, brown leghorns have white earlobes and lay white eggs.

Thanks for posting those I checked them out last night pretty much right after you posted them! Lets just say that's how I ended my night reading a good bit of that form!

Well our welsummer still hasn't laid... And we haven't seen any feather loss from her in the past two weeks so I'm thinking shes not in a molt... Could she possibly still be a pullet??? Her combs and wattles don't seem to be as big as they should but who knows.... Feeling her bottom her pubis bones defiantly wouldn't be able to fit an egg through so i dont know whats up with her :(
