Welsummer vs easter egger

Hi! I have 2 hens and had a roo that i assume(d) are all easter eggers.
One hen has spurs, ear tufts and a beard or ruff, I'm not sure what everything is called. She lays light brown eggs.
The other hen has a bigger comb, no tufts or spurs and lays medium-brown eggs.
They're lightweight birds compared to my australorp/ buff orpington hen.

They aren't brown leghorns, because brown leghorns lay white eggs.
How do you tell welsummers apart from easter eggers?

Welsummers don't have ear muffs or beards. EEs have those things, pea combs and have a head that more resembles a hawk.

Easter Eggers generally have a beard/muff, pea comb and green legs. Welsummers have single combs, are clean faced, and yellow legs.

Oh, interesting, thank you both! So what do you think I have? Easter egger/ rhode island red mutts?

The roo was in bad shape but looked rhode island red-y to me. I figured they were all the same, though, and supposed they were easter eggers because of the eartufts on the hen.

The roo had yellow and red legs and feet.
Hen2 has a single comb, yes? She's up top in both photos.
The one with the beard (Penny) i don't think of as a pea comb, but she really doesn't have much there. She doesn't even have wattles.

Nobody's legs look green to me.

The roo got killed a few weeks ago. He had some green in his tail and maybe could have been wellsummer from the photo on the first link from @summercanoe

I got to here from the second link you posted, @summercanoe . Mine still look like they could be easter eggers. The legs seem to vary a lot. Mine do have tails.

What about the brown eggs?
The one I'm holding and the 4 top right are from hen2. The others are from my other 2 hens, one is the ear tufted Penny. I can't really tell their eggs apart.

None of the RIR pics look all that much like the coloring on my roo. I guess i killed a wellsummer.

At the moment, I'm thinking hen2 (on top in the pics w both hens) is welsummer.
And Penny is easter egger.
Opinions?
