Welsummers Are Laying (PICS)

Great eggs ! I need to start making the hens lay more I have not seen a dark egg from my birds for two months ! I can't wait for my new marans to start laying. Dark eggs are so great and very pretty.

They really are pretty eggs! We have 2 Welsummers also and one of them is just now laying at 28 wks. Hers started out speckled too and seem to get darker and darker.

Has anyone order Wellies through privett?

I had to replace my 8 Wellies (feedstore) due to a neighbor's dog attack. I have one that just started laying. I ordered from Privett for a Nov delivery. All 10 of them (plus a few others) are doing quite well in our Wisconsin winter. Seemed to be nice birds to this "unschooled" eye.​

As my birds got older the eggs seemed to loose their speckles.
