wow, that's awesome. You are so lucky! I'm a lot older than you and my mom would still never let me get that many. She was worried when I upped from seven to eleven! Keep posting pictures of your ginormous flock as they grow

Earplugs- you'll need earplugs. That many cuties all peeping at once can get LOUD!! Don't ya want to just sit down on the floor and cuddle them all at once?

Not shure the size of the coop and they are all free range (no run)

dont use DE

dont use pine shavings (we use straw cause i dont believe in cutting down more trees when straw is a byproduct alternative)

i dont buy the feed but according to my mom that is going to change really soon. te hehe

I have 10 chickens in the other coop and use a 30 gal. waterer. the chicks have a 5 gal. waterer.

requires LOTS of patience.

My whole coop and all nest boxes are with pine shavings . Straw or hay attracts mites , flies , fleas and moldy when mositure and poop sets in .

I have NO oder in my coops and NO flies .

You don't buy the feed ? Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh K

I have shaving now because of babies but used straw for over a year and no fleas or nothing like that. If my coop is wet I clean it no mold. I use straw because I can get it from LOCAL farmers.

Well I live in WI and I'd be thrilled to take a few off your hands! LOL

They are super, super cute!
