Went boating and found this

My hubby and I decided to go for a little boat ride out in the ottawa river. We went into a bay to try a cast a few. This huge nest caught my eye. It is a bald eagle nest with one of the parents standing on it. The other one is on the other tree. I guess on look out. THe boats didnt bother them on bit. I had a camera in my purse. I am glad i did. Just thought i share.

There are a few little swamps near here where eagles nest; occasionally I see them flying overhead when I'm driving thru the swamp. It's always a treat to see these majestic birds! Thanks for posting your pics!

well this is the first for me. I see them flying around.But that close to a nest. I was just amaze how large it was.

NICE! We photo'd an eagle here about 10 years ago on Christmas Day after buying my DH a new zoon lens. Very spiritual experience to see them!
