I wish our auction had goats.
I went to the auction once and came back with a yearling horse! We kept her in the garage until I got in touch with a neighbor who had an available stall. DH was highly annoyed, but Ashe's 4 years old now and a beautiful animal! We built her a barn and DH recently got himself a horse.

That's too funny, my husband went to our auction looking for piglets and the first time he brought home Dodge, our goat and the second time he brought home 2 Silkies and 3 bantams. Took him until the 3rd time before he actually brought home pigs, lol.

Awwww...very cute. I try to avoid auctions as much as possible because I do the same thing.

I can't believe how much the price of piglets has gone up since March. In late Feb and March piglets were going for as low as $5 each. Now they are $50 and up. I don't think people wanted to mess with them during the cold weather.
