Went to TSC *about the 6 chick minimum

Our TSC is doing the 6 chick minimum and claiming it is the law. It is NOT the law in NC. Also some of the TSC are requiring personal information to buy chicks and it is not a law(YET). TSC seems to be falling into the trap that many other failed big business has, they think they are so large they can dictate to the customer and get away with it.

TSC has a right to dictate sales policy, WE have a right to shop elsewhere. Just hope if this backfires on TSC we don't end up having to bail them out.

You guys are lucky to have hatcheries and feed stores with chicks so close. The closest hatchery is 9hrs from here and our feed store will only bring in chicks if you order them and prepay. They have a 25 min order because of shipping. I only wanted 5. Would have been okay with 6

. I luck out after much looking turns out a guy Dad works with raises chickens and is going to hatch me some chicks. Maybe next year I'll order 25 but not this year.
